On Monday the 14th September 2015 history was made in Bristol.
We were ecstatic to see a new and vibrantly refreshing record label be launched at Bristol’s historical live music venue The Colston Hall. Saffron Records is the South West’s first all female record label dedicated to the advancement of young female artists within the music industry.

Founder Laura Lewis-Paul is truly an inspiring member of our Bristol community and she is certainly off to a great start. The event was amazing, the room was filled with music lovers and music industry movers & shakers . The live performances by some of Bristol’s best female artists were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended this prestigious event. Nadine Bourne, Sophie Ellam, Skrilla UGQ and the headline act Eva Lazarus (Dub Mafia’s first lady & patron to Saffron Records) certainly put on a show.
The female presence was in full force on the night as ladies were representing throughout from the DJ to the photographers, even the lovely Ellie Pitt (Made In Bristol TV) was in the building and covered the event. After such a great launch we are sure that for Saffron Records the only way is up.
Well done to Laura Lewis-Paul and the entire Saffron Records team. You guys did an amazing job and we cannot wait to see some of the talented female artists you propel onto the world stage #Salute
