The Queens Power Lunch was created to professionally link young entrepreneurs and successful business women together. Within the Bristol area there are many young women with the ideas, passion and drive to be successful but there is no event which specifically targets young females from disadvantaged backgrounds or ethic minority
Our aim is to give female entrepreneurs within the Bristol area the chance to be embraced and empowered through motivational talks and networking sessions. There will even be chances for one to one support in some cases if its needed. The motivational talks will be given by already successful business women from Bristol and around the UK! These are women who lead by example and who’s advice is invaluable to young/new female entrepreneurs. The First event was on the 7th August 2014 and had 2 female special guest speakers: Amy Morse from Outset (Enterprise Coach & Business Woman) and Jendayi Serwah (Business Woman, Activist & Motivational Speaker).
The first event went extremely well and support was shown by bristols very own Ujima Radio and BCFM’s One Love Breakfast Show. This is the first of many Empowerment and networking events with the next Queens Power Lunch scheduled for October 2014.
