This week our Shout Out goes to the Plantation Caribbean Bar & Restaurant. The restaurant was founded by Beverley Forbes a chef who specialises in Caribbean food back in December 2003. Over the years the Plantation has built up a reputation for being one of the best Caribbean food restaurants in the South West. Known for their amazing food and atmosphere the Plantation is also a thriving music spot for local and national musicians. Beverley’s hard work has been recognised over the years and has gained her a loyal following with achievements such as having cooked alongside TV chef’s Martin Blunos, Levi Roots and even the late singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse.
Beverley’s determination and success is fuelled by her love for her Jamaican heritage. If you are in the Bristol area and looking for great food, great drinks and great music then make sure you head to the Plantation Restaurant and experience the exotic taste of the caribbean.
